How to Tap into your Unlimited Energy and Potential: Episode 203

Hi sister! Welcome back to another episode of a Taylored Adventure to Happiness. If you are new, welcome! If you are a regular, I love ya, I love ya, I love ya!

Can we just take a moment and acknowledge that we’re fucking alive?! God, life is good, and we’re alive — living it today, right this very moment! Take a deep breath in and just get present with it all for a moment. Do you feel how good it feels? Like there’s this incredible blanket of peace and confidence that amazing things are on their way for you.

You almost feel unstoppable, right? Like, your energy is limitless, and nothing can get in the way of doing what you want. How would you like to feel that way all the time (or at least most of the time)? If you said, “Hell yes,” then you’re in the right place, because today we’re talking all about how to tap into your limitless source of energy and potential to create the life of your dreams.

I have been traveling for what feels like three straight months. As people have seen the photos on my social media, I’ve been getting messages asking, “How do you do it all? How do you have enough time? How do you never run out of energy? Wait, you’re taking another trip! Weren’t you just in Phoenix or something?” Yes, I was, and I’m headed to Africa really soon. I’m doing all of this while enjoying and nurturing a magical relationship with my husband, running a thriving business that lights me up, and feeling happy and free — not stressed.

That’s the kind of life you have the capability of living, too. I know this because I didn’t get some special superhero serum that makes me endlessly energized. However, I do have a system that protects and improves my energy so that it appears limitless. That’s what I’m going to be sharing with you today: My method of aligning my thoughts, time, and energy with what I truly want so that abundance flows to me easily.

Because, here’s the thing: You can do all the fucking things. You can start a non-profit. You can have a healthy marriage. You can be a dog mom. You can run over a half a million-dollar business. You can host retreats halfway across the world. You can fucking do it ALL. You just need to dispel some limiting beliefs and get the right system in place.

Who’s ready to stop holding themselves back and start tapping into their unlimited energy and potential? If you are, keep reading!

Shift Your Reality by Checking-in with Yourself and Shifting Your Mental State

How are you doing today? Like how are you doing today, for real? Let’s check in with ourselves for a minute. Is there any anxiety, fear, self-doubt? Are you excited? Have you been manifesting like crazy lately, and is everything in your life really fucking good? Just take a moment to be aware of how you’re feeling.

If you don’t do this often, I want to challenge you to set a daily alarm that says, “Hey, check-in.” When it goes off every day, sit still, and ask yourself the questions I just asked you. I’m challenging you with this because I believe that being aware of our human experiences is closely related to our ability to fully step into our potential. Most people are going, going, going, and they never acknowledge how they feel. If they slowed down, they would probably notice that they have limiting beliefs playing on repeat in their mind.

It might look like I have all the energy in the world, but really I don’t give a shit about any thought that tells me I can’t or shouldn’t. I have what appears like limitless energy because I refuse every limiting thought that comes my way. I say “fuck yes” to whatever I want to create or manifest in this lifetime! And “hell no” to everything else. My “fuck yes” is made possible by checking in with myself and being in control of my thoughts. My brain doesn’t run rampant, telling me whatever it wants. I know how I feel, I know what I want, and I align my thoughts to support my highest self.

When you go fearlessly after your mission and purpose, saying “yes” to what feels good and “no” to what doesn’t, you have no limitation. So sister, what’s limiting you? What thoughts are you having that are stopping you? Are you telling yourself that you don’t have enough time, money, or… support from loved ones…? Are those thoughts true? Like if you really wanted something, could you find a way to make it happen? Could you muster up the energy with your mind to keep going?

People tell me all the time, “Taylor, I don’t have that energy. Taylor, I don’t have the money.” I want you to hear something right now: When you say “I don’t have the ________,” you’re perpetuating your lack because where attention goes, energy flows. If you’re chronically tired and saying “I’m so tired” all the time, you’re literally manifesting more lack of energy. So what I want you to think about is: How can you flip that statement and tell yourself what you really want, how you really want to feel, and ultimately shift your physical state by shifting your mental state?

What we tell ourselves is what will come to fruition. What story are you telling yourself? What’s keeping you looking up at other people, wishing you could do that thing instead of just fucking doing it? If this is the year you want more, then sister, you need to check in with yourself and get control of your thoughts to align with your goals. Once your thoughts are in alignment with your goals, you can start prioritizing and building a schedule that supports those goals.

How to Use Prioritizing and Micro-Time Blocking to Feel Limitless

If there was ever an illusion that I’m doing it all and never running out of energy, these next few paragraphs will erase that myth. The truth is, we all have limited time and energy, but if we intentionally choose how we are going to spend our time and protect our energy, we will be able to do all the fucking things.

I intentionally choose how I will spend my time by making a list of priorities. For me, these priorities are the things that light me up the most and contribute to the legacy I want to create while I’m on this planet:

#1 Spending time with my husband and giving him my energy. I love my business so much that there was a little while where he was a little bit on the back burner in the past. I’m obsessed. My masculine energy likes to take control sometimes.  I’m sure a lot of you go-getters can relate. Anyways, I had to learn to prioritize my husband. Spending time with Johnny isn’t just a priority anymore — it is my FIRST priority.

#2 My personal life and self-care rituals. This priority includes everything from my morning routine and evening routine, to getting my hair and nails done, as well as daily movement and mindset work.

#3 Everything related to my business. All things that contribute to my place and leaving a legacy are in this category: launch dates, speaking on stages, pitching myself to podcasts who have audiences that I can serve, my non-profit, one-on-one client calls … All of it!

#4 Travel and events that I want to be available for. I might not know exactly where I want to go or when I want to go, but I always want to travel at some point, so I make it a priority. I also include soft holds on my calendar for events whose hosts have been interested in the value I bring. These potential opportunities are on my priority list because I don’t want to miss an opportunity to share my light with someone who might need it.

These are the things that go on my calendar no matter what. They are the non-negotiables that I absolutely must spend my time on. After my priorities are clarified, I plug them into my calendar in time blocks. Meaning, instead of typical hour-by-hour scheduling, I have several hours for each priority: Mornings for self-care routines, afternoons for business-related stuff, and evenings for spending time with my husband. (That’s a super loose example, there are some days I don’t spend any time on my business, and other days I spend the entire day with my husband.)

After my priorities are plugged into my calendar, I do what’s often called micro-time blocking. I write down each specific task that I want to accomplish within each time block. This means scheduling all the nitty-gritty details, like checking my email, which email to write for the upcoming launch, and all my one-on-one client coaching calls. This saves so much fucking time! When I get to my business-related time block, I can pull up my calendar and know exactly what I need to work on. I don’t have to guess, look through three notes books, or ask my VA. I can get straight to work.

Using my time purposefully and efficiently on the things I really want to do is honestly one of the best feelings! So ask yourself, “How am I spending my time? What do I want to spend my time doing?” Once you’ve answered those questions, get clear on your priorities, using micro-time blocking plug them into your calendar. You’ll be surprised by how energized and limitless you feel!

Schedule Space for Magic to Happen

Organization and scheduling are incredible, but if we have too much of a structured life and a filled-in calendar with no room for breathing, we can’t say “yes” to opportunities that could really change our lives or someone else’s. That’s why this next step is my most magical superpower yet! It keeps me even more flexible and energized to handle whatever life throws at me without having to say “no” to the things that feel good.

I call it “leaving room for magic to happen.” For me, this looks like scheduling a minimum of three to four hours a week of white-space on my calendar. Yes, white-space. Like, nothing is going on or scheduled. It’s left open for magical opportunities or spontaneous adventures that feel good! If nothing magical comes up when those times arise, I think, “Cool, I get to read a book and go for a walk.” Or I color, dance, call a friend. Anything I feel like, really. The empty time becomes my free time. Sometimes I’ll record a podcast during that time because I think podcasting is fucking fun. But that’s just me.

Honestly, if I had one secret to doing all the things, “leaving room for magic to happen” would be my secret. I’m not sitting at my computer, grinding away at my business, allowing my business to run me. I’m running my business. So I’m able to keep my energy high. I say “yes” to things that feel good and are aligned with my goals and who I’m becoming. And I say “no” to things that don’t feel good and things that feel out of alignment.

It might feel scary at first to schedule white space. You might think, “If I keep working, things will work faster, and nothing will go wrong.” Sister, all that’s gonna do is wear you out or and steal your joy. Even if it’s one hour a week, start scheduling white space. If it doesn’t get filled up by something magical, spend it doing something that fills you up and feels peaceful. You gotta leave room for magic to happen, sis!

Why You Need to Start Prioritizing and Time-Blocking Today…

Whether or not you’ve found it yet, you’ve got a huge purpose on this planet. Whatever it is, the world needs it. We need your energy. We need you to step into your power and shine. We need you to say “yes” to things that might scare you but are aligned with who you are. We need your gift. We need YOU, sister.

Remember, you’re only as limited as you tell yourself you are. So ask yourself, “How am I keeping my gift from the world? Why am I keeping my gift small?” Abundance will flow to you when you get fierce as fuck with your time, boundaries, priorities, and mindset. When you are tapped into The Divine, God, the Universe — whatever you want to call it — unlimited potential and abundant energy will flow to you, and life will be easy.

We all have the same amount of time in a day. When we time block and say “yes” to things that feel good, we can do fucking anything! It’s up to you to make sure that you use your time and mental energy wisely.
