Healing The Fear of Being Judged : Episode 269

Hi sister! Welcome back to another episode of A Taylored Adventure to Happiness. If you are new, welcome! If you are a regular, I love ya, I love ya, I love ya!

I’m writing this post during my morning journaling routine as I sit in the sun in Costa Rica. I’m currently here at the end of one our my Ultimate Girl’s Week retreats, and it was so much fun. Wherever you are in the world, I’m sending high-vibe jungle frequencies your way!

Have you ever had one of those moments when you’re journaling, and all of a sudden, a lightbulb goes off in your head? Maybe you’re taking time to journal about your childhood wounds, and suddenly, you see the clear line of generational trauma and how its affected your family. Or maybe, you’re spending time meditating and when suddenly you’re just enveloped in a frequency of self-love and compassion?

I just had one of these lightbulb moments as I finished up my first ayahuasca ceremony. I immediately grabbed my computer and recorder because this message needs to come through right now — when I’m clear-channel journaling, it comes in HOT.

As you read this post, realize that even though I wrote it in the past, time is an illusion. This message is happening simultaneously with wherever you are in this moment. And don’t worry — I’m going to do an entire episode on my ayahuasca experience, so stay tuned! For now, though, open up your heart and mind to receive this juicy download!

My Ayahuasca Journaling Transmission

As I reflect on my ayahuasca experience, I see that each living thing is the universe expressing itself. We’ve all heard that phrase — “I am you, you are me” — and I say it all the time. I’ve always known it to be true, but today, I actually saw it and experienced it in a way that is almost indescribable. Immediately after the experience, I journaled it, and I want to share what I wrote with you:

I love watching myself and the universe expressing itself through others. I love seeing myself in others as they experience it all. I allow people to see me exactly as I am because it’s a gift for them to see themselves through me.

We are the universe. We are one expression itself. Therefore, I am here to be fully expressed so others can see themselves in me and what it would feel like for them to fully express themselves. When I am fully me, I allow others to be fully them. When I love myself, others love themselves. When I see someone being themselves, I become more of myself. I choose to be me — to be a mirror of what it looks like to be fully embodied, to show myself through other’s eyes.

If I assume others are judging me, I’m simply judging myself. Therefore, the more I love myself, the more I see others loving me for me because they see their light and love in themselves through me.

What a powerful transmission. As soon as I wrote it, I knew I wanted to share it with you. I think we often have a fear of being judged by others — wondering what they think about us or whether or not they like us. But sister, if we assume others are judging us, we’re actually just judging ourselves.

Judging Yourself Through the Eyes of Others

When you first meet someone, what’s going through your head?

I wonder what she thinks of me? What kind of vibes is she getting? Does she like me?

Or when you post on social media, are you worried about how people might judge your post?

This content may make my followers uncomfortable. Should I post it? What if they think it’s too ____? What if they stop following me?

Let’s be honest — we’ve all had thoughts like these when it comes to being vulnerable in front of other people, especially people we don’t know super well.

If you’re someone who struggles with how people perceive you (or supposedly perceive you), remember that you are your own person and that if you’re fearful of other people judging you, then it’s really you who’s judging you. Also, if you’re someone who struggles with judging others, then you are really just judging yourself and projecting that on them. As I went on my ayahuasca journey, I saw this concept unfold in real-time. There was an image of a mirror, and in the mirror, my face turned into someone else’s and vice versa.

So, next time you feel afraid of others’ judgment or judging others, remember that you are only judging yourself. And sister, you deserve to love yourself. Whatever pain memories you have or experiences you’re going through, those do not define who you are.

When you love yourself, the same thing happens but in a positive, uplifting way. When you are so in love with yourself, you are fully embodying the universe — including the people around you! The more you love yourself, the more you’ll see others loving me for me because they see their light and love in themselves. I’ve always understood this deep down, but after my journaling session, it made so much more sense.

Instead of judging yourself, choose love because that love attracts more love and abundance to you! You will take manifestation to a whole new level, and what’s more, you’ll be a light for those around you.

Be a Light for Someone Else

Sister, when you love yourself fully, you’ll be a light to those around you. I may sound crazy repetitive, but I want this to sink in.

When you fully express your fun, quirky, sexual, divine self, all those people who interact with you are just seeing themselves, and you’re giving them full permission to watch themselves through you!

Those people will think, “Wow, look at her — she’s fully herself. That’s amazing and so inspiring. I want to fully express myself too!”

Personally, I’ve always been committed to fully embodying myself and being an expander for so many people. I’m committed now at a whole new level to be that because you really are me, and I am you!

Here’s another ayahuasca vision I had about this very topic — you know those Russian dolls that stack inside each other? That’s how I experienced the Universe. I literally watched the Universe stack inside itself and saw how we’re all connected. I became you. You became me. I became my sister. My sister became me. I became my father. My father became me. I became an animal. The animal became me. And suddenly, the entire universe was in me, and I was in the entire universe.

This all happened so fast, but it made so much sense. When you realize how everything is so connected, you’re able to shine even brighter than ever before. Do yourself and the people around you a service by loving yourself fully and expressing who you are — we’ll all benefit from it!

Step into Your Power — You Are the Universe

Now, maybe you’re thinking, “Taylor, your experience sounds amazing, but I haven’t sat with ayahuasca, and I still have doubts about myself. How can I move past those doubts and accept myself for who I am?”

First of all, I get it. I feel it. I see it. I know that what I experienced was true, but I even still have doubts. Remember that those doubts are a reflection of the doubts you have in yourself. These doubts have nothing to do with the words I’m saying about the oneness between you and the Universe. They are the doubts you have about not being enough, not being abundant, not being able to create your own life.

Every moment, even a difficult one, is an opportunity to get to know yourself and the Universe better. As you participate in this reflection, you get to heal, and you ascend, coming back home to who you truly are. You’ll remember your magical superpowers because you are the Universe.

You can warp time. You can manipulate time. You can freeze time. You can fast forward time. You can manifest your desires just like that. That’s what happens when you allow yourself to move through each opportunity embodying the Universe by loving yourself. Every day, you’ll have an opportunity to heal yourself, reflect on life, and celebrate the beautiful things.

Sister, the world needs healing, and this is how we heat it. Everything that’s going on right now — from COVID-19 to racial injustice — is a direct reflection of ourselves, including the pain, shadows, and trauma we’ve experienced. The pain of the world that’s crashing down right now? It’s you. It’s me. It’s all of us.

That may sound fucking depressing, but in this truth lies an equal power — we can heal the world.

Invest in Yourself and Go Deeper into Self-Understanding

I was so excited to share about my ayahuasca experience with you, and I can’t wait to share more in the coming weeks!

Sister, this is why you invest in yourself. This is why you should allow yourself to go deeper using different modalities. Show up differently and show up unafraid. I didn’t know what I would experience, but it was just what I needed to hear.

I hope this message hit home for you and that it just sunk into a deeper level than ever before so that others can see themselves in you and you can see yourself through them. If you enjoyed today’s message, tag me, @iamtaylorsimpson, on Instagram and let me know what your biggest takeaway was.

And if you’re interested in connecting with other women in person as you walk through this journey, I have the perfect opportunity for you.
