How do you feel about life right now? Do you feel stuck, overwhelmed, or like you’re attracting a lot of things you don’t want? Or maybe life feels absolutely magical right now! However it feels, settle in with that reality. Get cozy with it. Stop trying to fight or fix it. Let life be exactly what it is.
At this time of the year — particularly at the end of 2020 — it’s really easy to feel disappointed with ourselves and our lives. We’re walking through one of the busiest months of the year while juggling gift shopping, family engagements, and holiday gatherings. On top of that, January 1st is approaching — the day many review last year’s goals and set new ones. It’s hard to avoid the glaring reality of the goals we didn’t meet or fell through the cracks.
Last year around this time, I went to an event that reminded me of something I often talk about when it comes to manifesting what we want. I created an entire message unpacking the idea. Under the current holiday-hurry and COVID-19 dashing plans, I thought it would be a good time to bring this message back.
It’s a message about how we call in or repel what we want with the vibrations we put out. It’s also a practical reminder of what you are in control of and what you’re not in control of. I’ll share a unique perspective on life that will help you shift from feeling stuck to feeling guided. And, finally, I’ll walk you through three steps you can take to start attracting the abundance you want.

An Empowering Way to See the Areas of your Life That Are Going “Wrong”
Before COVID-19, I attended a three-day in-person PR training workshop all about tailoring your message so that you could be featured on the best networks and publications to spread your light. Events like these are emotionally hard on me because I’m an introvert. And I’m not just a casual introvert. I’m a massive introvert. This means going up to groups of people, and talking to them is way out of my comfort zone.
I’ve learned that if I attend a live event with super clear intentions, I struggle with less social anxiety, and I’m able to show up confidently. So, I was showing up to this event with lots of intention. By the end of the first day, I realized I was in all the groups of standoffish people — arms crossed, not talking. Their energy felt cold, and I was really intimidated, which made me retreat even further and stop initiating conversations.
Eventually, I looked around and noticed that there were plenty of other happy conversational groups. And it hit me — I wasn’t practicing a lesson I preach to my clients and online community all the time: You attract the energy you put out.
I continued to be in the groups of people who were standoffish because I was being standoffish and had my energetic wall up. I wasn’t putting out welcoming energy, so people weren’t approaching me. The moment I realized what was happening and opened up my happy, bubbly self, all of the happy, bubbly people started approaching me and engaging with me.
Did you catch the shift? The happy bubble people approached me and engaged me. I didn’t have to go out of my way for this shift to happen. I just had to show up with the right vibrations. When I did, the following results happened immediately — fucking immediately!
Right now, I want you to envision an area of your life that is not going the way you want it to. You might be saying the right thing, setting the right intention, repeating the right affirmation, and focusing on the desired outcome. But if you keep attracting people and scenarios that are the exact opposite of what you want, you’re probably putting out the wrong vibrations.
Instead of seeing your lack of desired results as a reason to be discouraged and disappointed, choose to see it as a reflection of the vibrations that you need to change.
Do you have all the money you want in your life? Are you attracting the relationships you hoped for into your life? Have you reached your fitness goals? Receive your answers to these questions as feedback on how you’ve been vibrating. Once you know how you’ve been vibrating, you can shift your vibrations to attract what you actually want.
How We Accidentally Attract the Wrong Thing
If you’ve followed me for any length of time, you heard me say the following a lot: You get what you focus on. That means, when you focus on what you don’t want, you get more of what you don’t want. It’s like every thought you have is sending a message to the Universe requesting the thing you’re fixated on.
Sometimes, when we set a goal, we get so wrapped up in achieving it that we spend a lot of time focusing on what we’re trying to avoid. If that’s the case for you, your lack of money isn’t because you’re setting the wrong intentions or doing the wrong affirmations. You lack the abundance you want because you’re not focused on your future self.
Remember, your life is just a mirror of how you’re vibrating. So, if at any point in the past 24 hours you have sat in scarcity or lack for more than 19 seconds (that’s how long it takes to fully absorb a feeling), you are going to see that matched in your life. Fucking crazy, right?! But also so empowering because if we can manifest lack and scarcity that quickly, we can attract abundance and goodness to ourselves just as quickly!
Everything in your life, from your health to your relationships, is just feedback on how you’ve been vibrating. How empowering is that?! So, if you’re not getting what you want, get real with how you’ve been vibrating and shift your vibrations to match what you do want! (I’m sharing three prompts to help you do this in the next section, so keep reading!)
How to Align Your Vibrations to Manifest Anything You Want
Shifting your vibrations comes down to being intentional — setting an intention and acting from that place. I recommend setting intentions as part of your morning ritual. This way, you’re not just redirecting your energy to attract the things you want when you realize you’re way off track. Instead, you’re daily aligning your energy to draw in what you want.
Many of the amazing AF women in my community have two or three daily prompts that they journal through to align their vibrations with what they want to call in. Using prompts like these is most effective and supportive when you’ve narrowed your goals down two or three. That way, you can set intentions for two to three things instead of every area of your life.
Here are three prompts to get you started:
Prompt #1: “How Do I Want to Feel?”
Let’s say one of the goals you’re focusing on is money, specifically, creating wealth. Do you want to feel abundant when it comes to money? Like you have plenty to spend on what you want and some to bless others with? Do you want money to feel effortless? Like it comes to you easily, and people are so grateful to pay you for the value you bring to their lives? Or maybe your goal is to cultivate relationships. Do you want to feel safe or free to have a good time?
Whatever your goal is, get clear on the feeling you want to have any time you think about or interact with that area of your life. Now, write it down! Don’t just think about it. Write it down.
Prompt #2: “What Is the Vibration I Want to Put Out?”
Remember how we talked about becoming so anxious about making our desired results happen that we end up getting the opposite because that’s what we obsess over? This prompt is crucial to making sure that doesn’t happen!
Now that you know what you want, begin writing out the actions someone would take if they were walking in that same feeling. For example, if you want to find your soulmate, are you being the perfect soulmate? Are you the partner that you want your soulmate to be attracted to? Cause you’re not going to attract your soulmate unless you actually intentionally choose to vibrate at a frequency that he or she is looking for in return.
This is actually how I met Johnny. I got crystal clear on the kind of man I wanted to share my life with, and then I asked myself, “What is that kind of man looking for in a soulmate?” Then I embodied all of that. I vibrated at that frequency, and he came into my life quickly.
So, get clear on your goal and the feelings you want to have. Then write out the aligned actions you need to take.
Prompt #3: “What Do I Need to Do Differently?”
Once you’ve gotten through the first two prompts, think about the different choices you’ve made that didn’t pan out as you wanted. The decisions that you were like, “Oh, I thought that was what I wanted, but it wasn’t. If I could go back and make ________ choice instead, I would.” Refuse to regret that experience. The only thing regret does is keep you in a cycle of defeat.
Instead, anytime you think of the moment you would do differently, choose to see it as an opportunity to understand how your vibrational frequencies were off. From there, identify what an aligned decision would have felt like and what frequency you want to put out right now.
The magic of tapping into abundance is having control over one thing and one thing only — the energy and vibration that you put out in every moment. Each moment your energy is shooting out rockets of desire to the Universe — whether you want the thing or don’t want the thing. We can’t control the future. We can’t control the outcome. We can’t change the past, but we can control our energy. And that energy is the vibration we put out to attract anything we desire. So, choose your energy with intention!
Why You Need to Operate at the Frequency of Your Worth
Sister, wanting and believing are not the same thing. Let me say that again: WANTING AND BELIEVING ARE NOT THE SAME THING! I hear people say they want abundance, intimacy, freedom — whatever it is — but they don’t actually believe it could be theirs. They still have the unworthiness sticker on their forehead.
You can’t just want it to be yours. You have to believe it can be yours. Because when you know you are worthy of all the abundance and freedom you desire, you operate at a different frequency. When you operate the frequency of knowing and owning your worth — guess what?! The Universe delivers. How magical AF is that?!
So, if you don’t have everything in your life you want or what you want is not coming to you, the question is: Do you want freedom and money, or do you believe freedom and money are your birthrights? Because they fucking are! Wealth, abundance, and freedom — everything you want — are your birthrights, but you have to own them and claim them with your actions and vibrations!
