Why Questioning Everything Matters: Episode 222

Hey sister! Welcome back to A Taylored Adventure to Happiness! If you are new, welcome! If you’re a regular, I love ya, I love ya, I love ya!

It is my mission to inspire women to shine their light, fearlessly own who they are, and create an #AbundantAF life. My hopes are to educate you, support you on your path of inner growth and ascension, and even trigger you in the best ways possible. I love you, I see you, and I am all about helping you grow!

Today’s episode is all about the importance of questioning everything. I want to share two quotes with you that I think are perfect to help us navigate through these wild times we are in right now. And by wild, I mean all the ideas, perspectives, and beliefs that are being given to us via the media. The first quote is from the Athenian playwright Euripides:

“Question everything, learn something, answer nothing.” – Euripides

And the second quote is from Albert Einstein:

“The important thing is to never stop questioning.” – Albert Einstein

I fucking love both of these quotes because they both empathize the importance of always being open to new truth but not blindly accepting anything. Now more than ever, people can share their thoughts, research, and feelings freely on the internet. And this isn’t a bad thing, but I never want us to be in the situation where we’re taking everything in as truth. I also want us to take a moment and evaluate our own belief systems because sometimes, we’re just living through someone else’s frequency without even realizing it.

Don’t let yourself be led blindly. Just because your favorite news source reports something, that doesn’t mean it’s a fact, right? Same with me. If I share something, don’t take it as fact. Even if it is a fact, it’s our responsibility as conscious individuals to question everything.

Don’t Blindly Follow  Speak Your Soul’s Truth

When we choose to be led blindly and assume someone to be the all-truth giver, we fall prey to the negative systems of this world and end up fueling the world that we’ve created. We’ve created a world where media is truth. We assume that anyone in a leadership role knows 100% fact, but y’all, in the end, there are multiple dimensions. There are numerous realities with different outcomes. So if we want to go there, nothing is really true because the universe is continually changing.

Let’s dial this even deeper into what we learned growing up. As kids, we were often told that sometimes, “That’s just the way it is.” We were told to go to school, then college, get married, and get a job. These are all things that we were told to do, and maybe some of you were given even a stricter path to follow.

Did you ever question that path? Go back to that time in high school when your guidance counselor told you what colleges you should apply to and what majors you should consider. It might not have been the right choice for YOU, but you did it because you weren’t taught to question enough.

So now that we know that we NEED to question and we NEED to speak our truth fearlessly, how can we apply this into our lives?

When you start questioning, you’re going to discover ego truths and soul truths, which are very different. So let’s say you’re going through a rough time with your partner right now. Maybe you’re spiritually expanding, and your partner just doesn’t get that. Instead of immediately going to, “Oh my gosh, we’re drifting apart,” take a step back and ask yourself why you feel this way. Maybe you saw the same thing happen with your parents, and you’re letting that experience shift your truth into something different. That’s a fear truth — an ego truth.

Ask yourself: Why am I even having this belief in the first place? What’s underneath this belief? And when you get to that root, you can face your fear, finally deal with it, and heal. Let yourself become curious because curiosity leads to you finding your own truth.

How Are You Going to Show Up Today?

Right now, I want you to ask yourself this very important question: How are you going to show up today?

We know that how we show up in every single moment is a reflection of how our entire life will be. It’s a reflection of what we think, what we do, how we carry our frequency, and all this is projected out onto the world. It causes a ripple effect on our own cells and even the people around us. So what if we stop being robotic in these present moments and question how we actually are showing up in each moment? Let’s take our present and future into our own hands!

If we want to create a life of massive financial abundance, then we need to ask ourselves this question every single day so that we tap into our highest self. When we’re at our highest self, we are vibrating love, and we are attracting everything in the frequency of love, which is money money money.

So let’s break this down into an example. Let’s say today you have decided that you want to show up on social media with confidence. Okay, so ask yourself: Why do you need that confidence? Well maybe, it’s because you’ve got this really important message that you know your community will benefit from hearing. That’s perfect. That is so much better than saying, “Well, I don’t know… I just think I might get good results, and people might like or comment on it.” Those are very ego-driven results, which are not in a high frequency, meaning that it won’t call in abundance.

If you decide to show up each day, in your home, in your workspace, with your partner, with your friends, and think through each decision consciously, then you’ll be tapping into your highest self and sister — you won’t fucking believe the abundance that will start pouring in.

Question Your Relationships, Your Health, and Your Business

Okay sister, before we wrap up, I want to give some practical examples of how you can start questioning everything in your life to discover those soul truths.

When was the last time you asked yourself, “How is my romantic relationship actually going?” It’s really easy to fall into a routine and just continue through the motions without asking yourself how you’re feeling and what you’re thinking. Do you think your relationship could be better? How can you show up with a little more love? Maybe you need to have some conversations with your partner where you question and talk through your relationship together. These conversations can be difficult, but it’s SO MUCH BETTER than letting your relationship float down a lazy river to nowhere.

Now let’s start questioning our health. When’s the last time you asked, “Hey, why do I tend to eat cookies when I’m stressed out?” Maybe you’re using food and sugar as a distraction instead of tackling your fears head-on. Perhaps you keep saying, “I want to work out,” but keep saying you don’t have time or you’re tired. Usually when we make excuses, it’s indicative of a fear we have, and when we can get that fear out in the open, we are one step closer to achieving our goals.

Lastly, let’s talk about business. Maybe you own an online business, but you haven’t shown up on your Instagram stories. Perhaps you say it’s because you don’t have time, but it’s really because you’re nervous to put yourself out there. Or maybe, you find yourself in a corporate job, and you’re always exhausted and grumpy. Have you taken a moment to ask yourself if you really want to be doing that job? Is it time to pivot your business or begin a new career entirely? You won’t know until you ask yourself.

Make Your Own Choices and Find Your Own Healing

Sister, I encourage you not to believe everything that I believe in. I know that if you’re anything like me, you desire to make your own choices. We gotta make sure that we aren’t blindly following the herd because if we do, we cannot expect our lives to flourish.

The most in line you are with your highest self and speaking your truth, the easier it is for the universe to deliver to you exactly what you desire. So give yourself that beautiful gift of micromanaging your thoughts. We are all in this together. We’re all one and the same. When I heal, you heal. When you heal, I heal.

As part of this mass effort for self-healing, I’m putting out journal prompts on my Instagram to inspire self-reflection and questioning. You can also receive my journal prompts right to your phone straight from my phone —like for real, from me. It’s not a bot. If you want to receive my journal prompts, just text the word JOURNAL to (202) 217-0704, and we can start a conversation!

I’ve also been hearing from so many women over on Instagram and Facebook that they are going through a spiritual awakening. They feel themselves wanting to go deeper, to pull apart their layers and then expand and learn more about their consciousness, about the 5D realm, and about mysticism. They want to step into their superpower, but they just don’t know where to go. They don’t know where to start.

So if you have been craving more, you’ve been wanting to learn more about mysticism and spirituality, divine, feminine, chakra, healing, abundance, all of that, then come and join us over in the Abundant Life Experience. This is my membership program. Now more than ever is the most magical time to get in there because as we are all awakening and stepping into this new earth, this tribe is going to help you expand and grow into the lightworker, divine, feminine goddess that you are. We cover everything from chakra healing to sexuality to shadow work. This is your one-stop for your spiritual expansion and evolution.

Sister, I have so much respect and love for ya. This week, I really encourage you to think for yourself and really question the beliefs you’ve held onto for so long. Remember that you are always learning and unlearning, and this is a beautiful thing. And until next time, choose happiness, because, why the fuck not?
